RULES FOR AUDIENCE
What do we expect from our audience?
1.Be open and curious.
TEDx event is a place designed for clashing opinions. Since the audience plays an important role in our ideas exchange, we sincerely hope you will participate in our event with an unbiased mind and lots of interesting questions.
2.Listen more, judge less.
Not only speakers but also other attendees come to our event with their new ideas worth spreading, keep in mind that every individual is different and you shall be willing to listen to a different perspective instead of arguing about it.
3.Play a proactive part.
During the tea breaks, don’t just sit in the corner with your phones. Stand up and randomly find a stranger to talk to, the core idea of TEDx is to spark communication, prepare your self-intro and feel free to express your opinions with others!
Audience Etiquette — What should you know about being a respectful listener?
Arrive on time. We would suggest you to arrive at our school 30-45 minutes before our event officially starts.
No talking, unless audience participation is requested by the speakers.
Noises off. Turn off any digital devices before the talks.

Control coughing. Muffle coughs and sneezes with a handkerchief.
No eating or drinking in the auditorium.
Smoking is strictly prohibited around our campus.
Don’t take photos or shoot video during live talks. If you want to keep the videos, we will upload the livestream of our event later.
